Code of Conduct and Confidentiality

By accessing or using SelltoGovernment.com and participating in the SelltoGovernment (STG) Community I agree to be bound by this Code of Conduct which applies to all members accessing and participating in our community. I acknowledge that my access to and use of STG Community is conditioned on my acceptance of and compliance with the Code of Conduct of STG Community.

I understand and accept that STG Community reserves the right to change policies to benefit our members and membership community. Consistent understanding and enforcement of the policies and procedures supporting this Code of Conduct reinforces the core values of STG Community. Violations of this code could result in a loss of membership.

Code of Conduct

As a member of STG Community, I affirm that I understand and commit to the Code of Conduct. I agree to:

1. Commit to My Peers and Colleagues

   • To make my best effort to attend community activities.
   • To contribute my expertise and experience for the benefit of my peers through active participation in member connections, community calls, Leadership meetings, and events.
   • To express and own my perspectives and feelings.
   • To actively listen, be present in the moment, and be on-camera when attending Zoom calls.

2. Treat Other Members with the Highest Respect and Attention

   • To treat all other members equally as peers, embracing a diversity of perspectives, with mutual respect, an open mind, and mutual spirit of goodwill.
   • To support a respectful and collaborative learning environment for STG Community members.
   • To treat STG Community management, vendors, and partners with mutual respect, cooperation, and collaboration.
   • To provide priority responses to all communications and inquiries from fellow members.

3. Act with Integrity and the Highest Ethical Standards in Your Professional and Personal Life

   • To respect being a STG Community member, publicly and privately, in both my professional and personal life.
   • To conduct myself with the highest ethical standards with members and within the STG Community.
   • To disclose any apparent conflict of interest between my business and STG Community.

4. Support a Culture where it is Safe to Share Ideas and Perspectives Openly

   • To presume goodwill and positive intentions of members and management, listening and providing honest feedback.
   • To personally and proactively address disagreements and counter-views directly with members and management on a one-to-one basis in a respectful exchange.
   • I understand that STG Community will not intervene or otherwise get involved in any private disputes between members, including, but not limited to, disputes arising from business transactions.

5. Honor the Privacy and Confidentiality of Members and their Experiences

   • To keep personal and confidential member information, member rosters (current or past members), and comments from speakers and resources confidential.
   • To respect the privacy and maintain the confidentiality of all STG Community members and content/information shared within STG Community to include conversations, presentations, idea generation or sharing of documents, assessments, or strategies.

6. Adhere to the Non-Solicitation Policy

   • I understand that I am encouraged to make business connections within STG Community and members are welcome to do business together.
   • I agree not to market to members or add members to my/my firm’s newsletter or marketing campaigns without the member first opting in to receive my communications.
   • I agree not to sell products or services, seek special advantages, or raise funds from others on an unsolicited basis, to include charitable, personal, business, and political causes.

Confidentiality

As a member of STG Community, I agree to honor the privacy and confidentiality of Members and their experiences. This includes maintaining the absolute privacy of Members’ personal and confidential information and not sharing Member-specific content outside of STG Community.

Consistent understanding and enforcement of the policies and procedures supporting this Code of Conduct and maintaining the confidentiality of our membership and community promotes the core values of STG Community. Violations of this Code of Conduct or confidentiality could result in a loss of membership.
