Home Executive Moves L3Harris Appoints Rob Mitrevski as Golden Dome Strategy, Integration President

L3Harris has named Rob Mitrevski as president of Golden Dome strategy and integration, a new position created to advance the company’s goal of securing a role in the U.S. government’s next-generation missile defense initiative.

Mitrevski most recently served as vice president and general manager of the spectral solutions segment, where he secured key wins across the company’s missile defense portfolio, L3Harris said Wednesday.

In his new role, the executive will lead enterprise-level efforts to enable a multidomain, layered architecture. The role involves overseeing cross-functional teams working on satellites; datalinks; multidomain intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; precision fire-control sensing; and propulsion and control systems for interceptors.

“Rob’s appointment reflects the strategic importance we place on the Golden Dome program and our responsiveness to the urgent timeline identified by President Trump,” said Christopher Kubasik, chair and CEO of L3Harris. “This program is an opportunity for unprecedented innovation and industry collaboration, and it will serve as a cornerstone of future U.S. defense strategy.”

Rob Mitrevski’s Career Highlights

Mitrevski has over three decades of experience in defense systems.

Before L3 Technologies acquired Harris, he was the latter’s vice president and general manager for ISR.

He also served as vice president and general manager of environmental intelligence and integrated sensing solutions at Exelis, which became part of Harris.

Prior to his appointment at Exelis, Mitrevski was the vice president and general manager of ISR systems at ITT Exelis’ geospatial systems division. ITT Exelis was a company formed in 2011 after ITT spun off its defense and information solutions business.

He also held various leadership positions at ITT’s space systems and communications divisions.

Speaking about his latest appointment at L3Harris, Mitrevski said he is honored to lead the company’s Golden Dome initiative.

“The strength of this effort lies in our talented people and the culture of excellence they embody,” Mitrevski added. “Supported by advanced technologies and proven production capabilities, L3Harris is well-positioned to protect the homeland and allied partners from emerging missile threats.”
