Wes Anderson, president of public sector and corporate officer of AT&T, received his 2025 Wash100 Award from Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson during a recent meeting.
Founded by Garrettson in 2014, the Wash100 Award celebrates the most impactful and influential executives shaping the government contracting industry. These esteemed individuals demonstrate visionary leadership and are poised to achieve more in driving innovation in the GovCon sector in the coming year and beyond.
Promoting AI Adoption, Innovation in Defense
This year marks Anderson‘s fourth Wash100 Award, recognizing his leadership and efforts in fostering innovation and promoting the adoption of artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies to meet the needs of the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.
In late 2024, Anderson left Microsoft after a 26-year career to join AT&T, where he briefly held the role of senior vice president of federal before taking on his current position as head of public sector and corporate officer.
“For years, Wes has been a driving force behind federal technology innovation, and now, he’s bringing that expertise to one of the biggest names in communications,” said Garrettson. “With his deep industry knowledge and proven leadership, it’ll be exciting to see how he shapes AT&T’s federal strategy in the years ahead.”
