ARKA CEO Andreas Nonnenmacher Accepts 2025 Wash100 Award From Executive Mosaic

Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson personally presented the 2025 Wash100 Award to Andreas Nonnenmacher, president and CEO of ARKA Group, during a recent meeting.

Since its inception in 2014, the Wash100 has celebrated the most notable and impactful executives transforming the government contracting sector. Selected through a competitive review process, winners of this elite award are recognized for their leadership, vision, innovation and significant contributions in the past year. These honorees are also poised to continue shaping the GovCon landscape in the coming year and beyond.

Driving Corporate Expansion Through Strategic Acquisition

Nonnenmacher won his second straight Wash100 Award this year in recognition of his leadership of the defense and space company’s expansion efforts through investments and major acquisitions.

In November, ARKA closed its acquisition of Maxar Technologies’ radar and sensor technology group as part of a push to expand its synthetic aperture radar, geospatial intelligence and moving target indication capabilities to help address emerging threats facing the U.S. government and its allies. 

“Andreas is shaping ARKA into a major player in defense and space technology, earning him his second consecutive Wash100 placement. His leadership has driven big moves, like the acquisition of Maxar’s radar sensor tech group, strengthening ARKA’s position in advanced sensing and satellite systems,” Garrettson stated. “With a strong vision and a drive for growth, Andreas is keeping ARKA on an impressive trajectory, and I’m excited to see where he takes it next.”
