Mark Olson, former vice president at Peraton, has joined REI Systems as chief financial officer, bringing over 20 years of financial management and strategic planning experience in the information technology sector.
In a LinkedIn post Tuesday, the IT consulting and services provider highlighted Olson’s expertise in P&L portfolio management as well as his experience in executing financial strategies and corporate acquisitions.
Olson was with Peraton for over three years. Prior to that, he spent three years of his career at Perspecta, where he worked as finance director and, eventually, vice president. His resume also includes leadership positions at DXC Technology and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
The REI Systems CFO holds a business administration and management degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia.Â
REI provides IT modernization tools and services to government customers. In June, the Sterling, Virginia-based company secured a $6 million contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs to support the enterprise-wide deployment of its grants technology GovGrants.
